To date Environment, R & H, County Treasurer's and Chief Executive's departments are actively involved in updating the External Funding Database. The lack of a nominated individuals from other departments has hindered involvement across the authority as a whole and there are significant areas that are still not represented.

Jennie Pell (External Funding Officer) has actively sought involvement from all departments, with communication made to both the Corporate Management Team and Heads of Service requesting nominations for lead officers to take responsibility for updating the External Funding Database.

Training session dates were arranged but due to lack of interest these sessions were postponed and individual training sessions arranged for representatives from the Environment and County Treasurer's departments.

Jennie Pell is on maternity leave and the current External Funding Officer (Chloe Atkins) is not aware of any further actions.

Further intervention is required to encourage all departments to nominate lead officers and take responsibility for ensuring external funds are recorded appropriately.
