1.1 |
The following decisions are sought: |
That, subject to approval of the project appraisal, approval be given to: | |
a) The long leasehold acquisition of 0.44 hectares (1.08 acres) of land adjoining Elvetham Heath Primary School comprising public open space/ playing field together with associated land transactions as set out in the report, and the Acting Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) be authorised to settle the detailed terms and conditions. | |
b) The Chief Executive be authorised to enter into appropriate legal agreements to secure planning consent for the School extension. | |

2.1 |
These decisions support the following corporate priorities: |
· maximising wellbeing through the provision of improved school facilities to meet local needs. · making Hampshire safer and more secure for all, by providing improved pedestrian access to the School. | |

Extension of the School buildings within the existing site - this was rejected because the existing School site would be below Central Government standards for a School of this size, and it would create pupil management issues for the School. |
