Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given to:

a) the sale of the property to the preferred purchaser or to one of the two closest bidders on the basis set out in the report; and

b) the Acting Director of Property Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) to settle detailed terms and conditions of sale.

Reason

2.1

The proposed sale will contribute to the Corporate Strategy Aim of "Enhancing our Quality of Place" by securing a good quality residential redevelopment of the land adjoining Cadland Primary School. It also secures funding for the new school, which will provide replacement school buildings and meet the needs of new development.
