Partnership Funding to Independent Charitable Outdoor Centres - 2008/09

1. Summary
1.1 The following decisions are sought:
i. That approval is given to the following partnership funding recommendations for 2008/09:

Gilbert White Field Study Centre, Selborne 35,750
ii. That a review of this funding be undertaken in preparation for 2009/10 to meet the Decision of the Leader of the County Council of 28 January 2008.
2. Reason
2.1 The support enables the above Centres to deliver outdoor education to Hampshire young people in support of the Hampshire Outdoor Service 2005/08 Strategy and in support of the Corporate Priorities, specifically relating to `Enhancing our quality of place'.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected.
- Rejecting partnership funding applications
- Reducing funding available
