1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That authority be given to the Director of Adult Services to negotiate a single tender for a catering service for Willow Court, Andover subject to an appropriate Section 75 agreement being negotiated.

2. Reason

2.1 This proposal will give security of service and is an integral part of the partnership approach with Health regarding the ENHANCE project.

2.2 Links to Corporate Strategy. This proposal supports the Corporate Strategies of Maximising Wellbeing and Enhancing Quality of Place by providing a responsive catering service designed to meet the fluctuating and varied needs of nursing home residents.

3. Other Options considered and rejected:

3.1 No other options considered viable because of the all-inclusive nature of the service, specific needs of residents, and response requirements.
