Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

The Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel advises the Executive Member for Policy & Resources that approval be given to:

a) the sale of Pier House, Lee-on-the-Solent to the preferred purchaser on the basis set out in the report; and

b) the Acting Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates) be authorised to settle the detailed terms and conditions of sale.

Reason

2.1

The decision supports the Corporate priorities of Maximising Wellbeing and Enhancing Our Quality of Place by:

· securing a capital receipt for reinvestment in retained core stock residential homes; and

· securing a good quality redevelopment in this prominent location.

The sale to other bidders on the schemes and offers received as set out in the report.
