Strategy for the Built Estate

Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources approves:-

(a)

The adoption of the Annual Strategy Plan for 2008/09.

Proposals for the Revenue and Capital financial framework for 2008/09.

Proposals for New Deals for Schools (NDS) and Capital Repair Programmes.

The submission of further reports on the Strategic Property Review, Capital Receipts Strategy and Climate change agenda to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel.

Reason(s)

2.1

To provide a framework and strategy against which revenue maintenance, capital reports and NDS funds should be allocated.

2.2

The review and updating of the Strategy for the Built Estate ensures that resources are targeted at key areas and enhances the quality and safety of the County Council's built estate.
