1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the revenue grant to ArtSway be increased from £15,000 to £35,000 in order to support the necessary audience development and education posts long term.

2. Reason

2.1 To enable the organisation to grow its on and off site participatory activities and build an increased and diverse audience for the programme.

2.2 The importance of increasing access and participation and engagement through learning are key priorities, both as activities of the organisation as partnership activities.

3. Other options considered and rejected

- not increasing the revenue grant to ArtSway.

4. Conflicts of interest declared by the decision maker or other Executive Member consulted - none.

5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee - not applicable.

6. Reason(s) for the matter being dealt with if urgent - not applicable.
