1. Summary

1.1. The following decisions were made:

    a) That the grant of £500 awarded towards the RAF Odiham Heroes Homecoming Parade on 14 June 2008 be noted.

    b) That approval be given to one-off grants being awarded to those voluntary organisations and other bodies as shown in the sums below.

1,570 subject to the Church obtaining approval from the Diocese. The local Member be invited to consider a contribution from his budget.

2. Education Uganda

Deferred for further consideration in consultation with the Director of Children's Services

3. Walled Garden Events Group, Kempshott

one-off grant of 4,000

4. Circus Skills event in Gosport

1,000 subject to an invoice from Gosport Borough Council together with supporting receipts

    c) That a one-off grant of £150 be awarded to Stuart Bartlett of Brockenhurst who is taking part in a biodiversity conservation expedition in Indonesia.

2. Reason(s):

2.1. The awarding of these grants would support all of the County Council's Corporate Priorities by making Hampshire safer and more secure for all, Maximising well-being and Enhancing our quality of place.
