To confirm the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 28 March, 2008.

4. ANNUAL INTERNAL AUDIT OPINION 2007/08

To consider the report of the Treasurer concerning the internal audit opinion in relation to the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority.

5. ANNUAL GOVERNANCE STATEMENT 2007/08

To consider the report of the Chief Officer seeking approval to the Annual Governance Statement 2007/08 for inclusion in the Annual Statement of Accounts for 2007/08.

6. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS 2007/08

To consider the report of the Treasurer and Chief Officer presenting the draft statement of accounts for 2007/08.

7. PROGRESS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS AND ACTIONS ARISING FROM INTERNAL AUDIT REPORTS

To consider the report of the Chief Officer on the position concerning implementation of recommendations and actions arising from internal audit reports.

8. HEALTH AND SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS WITHIN HAMPSHIRE FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE

To consider the report of the Chief Officer which describes the Health and Safety arrangements in place at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and a summary of Health and Safety issues over the preceding year.
