1. Summary

1.1 The Cabinet approved the Final Accounts for 2007/08 on 25 June 2008, a summary of which is included in the Part II report of the Cabinet / Leader later on this agenda.

1.2 Two matters arising from that report require approval by the County Council, namely a proposed policy on minimum revenue provision to repay debt together with the prudential indicators for 2007/08. Both the proposed policy and the prudential indicators are set out in Appendices 1 and 2 to this report.

2. RECOMMENDATIONS

    (i) That the proposed policy on minimum revenue provision to repay debt be approved.

    (ii) That the prudential indicators for 2007/08 be approved.
