The following decisions are sought: |

a) That approval be given to the implementation plan for Property Services' Strategic Risk Register for 2007/08 as set out in Appendix 2 in the report to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel of 14 July 2008. b) That a review be undertaken into the annual cost of approximately £100,000 associated with the weekly maintenance checks and servicing of the twenty four County Council owned sites that have sprinkler systems installed, with a report back to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel in the autumn.

The provision of a robust Risk Management Strategy for the built estates and the allocation of resources to the highest and most significant liabilities across the built estate ensures that the well being of all users of County Council buildings is maximised and the quality of place is enhanced. |
