1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources nominates a replacement for Councillor M.J. Woodhall to attend meetings of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW) Local Government Association.
2. Reason
2.1 To appoint a replacement for Councillor Woodhall, who is now Chairman of the County Council, in order to maintain the County Council's representation on this important body.
3. Other options considered and rejected
3.1 Not to appoint a replacement. This option was rejected as it is important for the County Council to maintain its representation in order to contribute fully towards strong partnership working in Hampshire.
4. Conflicts of interest declared by the decision maker or other Executive Member consulted - none.
5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee - not applicable.
6. Reason(s) for the matter being dealt with if urgent - not applicable.
