1) Summary

The following decisions are sought:

1.1. That Hampshire County Council transfer the management of Havant Museum to Havant Art Centre from the 1^st April 2009.

1.2. That Hampshire County Council re-develops the "museum" element of the site.

1.3 That Hampshire County Council supports and participates in the creation of

the South East Hampshire Cultural Centre Project Board.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. In order to ensure the continued provision of a museums service within Havant.

2.2. The decision links to the Corporate priorities of Maximising Wellbeing and Enhancing our quality of place.
