The following decision is proposed:

1.1. That approval be given to the new gating policy and protocol as set out in the appendix.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1 At present Hampshire County Council has no formal policy on Gating Orders.

2.2 The new policy/protocol will allow a consistent response to be given to requests for such orders.
