1.1. That Cabinet approved the County Council's draft response to the Policing Green Paper, "From the Neighbourhood to the National: policing our communities together".

2.1. The Policing Green Paper, From the Neighbourhood to the National: Policing our communities together, was published on Thursday, 17 July 2008.

2.2. The Green Paper proposes changes to the Police Authority which may impact the County Council.
