1) Summary

The following decision was made:

1.1. That the action being taken by officers to manage revenue budgets within the cash limits for 2008/09 be endorsed.

Reasons for the decision

1.2. The report considers whether any action is required in response to budget monitoring up to the end of August 2008.

1.3. Budgets must be monitored against cash limits to enable all services to be provided in accordance with the three corporate aims.

2.1. There is no other option to meet corporate reporting requirements and best practice in budget monitoring.
