1) Summary

The following decisions were made:

1.1. To agree the amendment to the Financial Management Policies contained in Annex 5 of the strategy.

1.2. To agree the basis for setting provisional budget guidelines for 2011/12 and for setting provisional capital programme limits for 2009/10 to 2011/12, as set out in paragraphs 3.38 and 3.39.

1.3. To approve the Medium Term Financial Strategy for 2008/09 to 2010/11.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. To provide a basis for financial planning over the three year period.

2.2. Three year budget and capital programme and linked to the priorities of the corporate strategy.
