1) Summary

The following decisions are proposed:

1.1. That the financial and performance position for 2008/09 be noted and the managerial action being taken to balance the budget be endorsed.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. Regular budget and performance monitoring reports are submitted to the Executive Member throughout the year to confirm that managerial action is being taken to achieve a balanced budget position and that performance is improved. This report summarises the financial and performance information for 2008/09.
