1) Summary

The following decision is proposed:

1.1. That partnership funding totalling £5,000 be distributed to the British Canoe Union (Southern Region) from the Partnership Funding for Voluntary Bodies and other Organisation - Sport and Recreation 2008/09 budget.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1 This organisation is a key partner who helps deliver sports development projects and activities in support of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sports Partnership Strategy, the corporate priority, maximising wellbeing and the local area agreement target for adult physical activity.

3.1. Option 1: allocating partnership funding at higher and lower levels.

3.2. Option 2: allocating no partnership funding at all.
