The following decision was made:

1.1. That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services (Education) approves the conversion and refurbishment scheme for Crestwood College for Business and Enterprise, Eastleigh, at an estimated total cost of £260,000, including fees.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1 The proposed scheme will maximise wellbeing and enhance the quality of place by providing a 14-16 catering facility in line with the national 14-19 agenda.

The need for the works has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
