The following decisions are proposed:

1.1. That the Executive Member:

i. approves the re-appointment of Mr A Samuels to the Governing Body of King Edward VI School, Southampton until May 2013.

ii. approves a replacement for Mr J Martin to serve on the above Body until May 2013.

2) Reasons for the decision:

2.1. To maintain County Council representation on the school Governing Body. The current term of office expires in March 2009.

3) Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. Not to make an appointment, which would cease County Council representation.
