1) Summary

The following decision was made:

1.1. That partnership funding totalling £138,820 be distributed to a number of Voluntary Sports organisations from the Partnership Funding for Voluntary Bodies and other Organisations - Sport and Recreation 2008/09 and 2009/10 budgets.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1 These organisations are key partners who help deliver sports development projects and activities in support of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sports Partnership Strategy, the corporate priority maximising wellbeing and the local area agreement target for adult physical activity.

3) Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. Option 1: allocating partnership funding at higher and lower levels.

3.2. Option 2: allocating no partnership funding at all.
