Secondary Schools

    Comments

Brookfield

Priority to children living in Warsash to the south of the school, meaning that they do not have to go past Brookfield on their way to an alternative school.

Hounsdown

Priority to catchment west of A326. This means that those pupils living in the New Forest some distance from the school will be given priority over those who live nearer to Hounsdown but who also live nearer an alternative school.

Priestlands

Out-catchment distances measured to catchment area boundary. This criterion ensures that those who live furthest from the school and also furthest from alternative schools will be given priority.

Robert Mays

In the event that the school oversubscribes in the `out-catchment with a sibling' those attending a linked school will be given priority. Distance from the school will then be used to order the list

Vyne

Distance measurement for `detached' catchment area.

Wavell

Out-catchment distances measured to catchment area boundary. The school lies on the southern edge of its catchment. This criterion will enhance the admission chances of out of catchment pupils attending linked schools to the north of the area.
