1) The Decision:

1.1. That the Executive Lead Member Children's Services (Education) supports a recommendation to the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that planning applications be submitted for the siting of a double temporary classroom for the Clifford Centre on one or other site until August 2013. It is proposed that the cost of up to £0.150m be met from the 2009/10 capital programme contingency

2) Reasons for the decision

These are the reasons for this decision being made, including any links to the corporate strategy.

2.1. The planned East New Forest Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD) school capital project requires the relocation of the Clifford Centre. The option to relocate the centre to either Abbotswood Junior School or Bartley C of E Junior School are considered suitable locations for which detailed discussions are taking place with both schools.
