1) Summary

The following decision is proposed:

1.1. That the 2009/10 Business Plans for the Business Services Group (BSG) be approved.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1 The Business Plans do not link to the Corporate Priorities but requires a decision to enable the four business units of the Business Services Group to operate within the County Council's financial regulations as self funding business units.

3) Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. The need for the works has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
