1) The Decision:

1.1. That the proposals for earmarking underspendings and meeting overspendings in the provisional 2008/09 Final accounts, as set out in
paragraph 3 of the report be agreed.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. To agree the treatment of underspendings in 2008/09, to enable the Statement of Accounts to be prepared before the year end report is considered by the Cabinet.

3) Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. To delay the approval of the Statement of Accounts until after the statutory deadline of 30 June.
