1. The decision:

a) That amendments to the 2009/10 integrated transport programme, set in February, be approved.

b) That the proposed funding package to cover an estimated £211,000 overspend on the 2007/08 scheme, Witherbed Lane Link Road/ Segensworth Roundabout, be approved.

c) That the 2008/09 financial outturn be noted.

d) That the outturn costs of completed schemes in 2008/09, detailed in Appendix 2, be noted, as required by the County Council's financial procedures.

2. Reasons for the decision:

2.1. Financial regulations require that the Capital Programme be monitored regularly, and for corrective action to be taken if necessary to control expenditure within current approvals.

2.2. The Executive Member report of 24 March 2009 identified the need for a decision on the funding package for the Witherbed Lane Link Road/ Segensworth Roundabout scheme.

2.3. Changes to the 2009/10 Integrated Transport programme, since setting in February, need to be approved.
