1. The decision:
a) Support for Driving Success is reaffirmed and recognised as central to drive improvement and provide the Council's self-determined, self-destined response to CAA.
b) The proposed proportionate top-level partnership overview self-assessment and evidence gathering approach is endorsed and any feedback is given to the Head of Improvement.
c) That Members of the County Council are reminded of their important role in encouraging and monitoring effective partnership working within Hampshire.
d) Departments and partners are asked to:
i. Prepare and forward to the Head of Improvement Green Flag Case studies1.
ii. Ensure appropriate and robust improvement plans are in place to respond to areas of known weaker performance and potential Red Flag areas.
2. Reason(s) for the decision:
2.1. The Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) national performance assessment regime has replaced the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CAA) regime. This signifies a different approach to judging the performance of public sector organisations in an area. This report sets out the proposed response to the changes.
