1) Summary

The following decision was made.

That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services approves the design for the proposed mini Synthetic Turf Pitch and tennis court enhancements at Noadswood School, Dibden Purlieu, at an estimated total cost of £400,000 (including fees of £49,000).

2) Reasons for the decision

The proposed scheme will maximise wellbeing and enhance the quality of place by providing an STP and associated floodlighting, together with improvement works to the existing tennis court.

3) Other options considered and rejected:

The need for the works has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
