1. CHILDREN'S SERVICES DEPARTMENT 2008/09 REVENUE BUDGET FINAL POSITION AND 2009/10 BUDGET MONITORING - PERIOD 2 (END OF MAY 2009)

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services setting out the final position for the 2008/09 Revenue Budget and the use of the planned underspend in 2009/10.

2. CHILDREN'S SERVICES CAPITAL PROGRAMME ISSUES (LESS EXEMPT APPENDIX)

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on proposed changes to the 2009/10 capital programme.

3. DEPARTMENTAL WORKFORCE PLAN FOR CHILDREN'S SERVICES 2009/10

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to a departmental workforce plan for Children's Services for 2009/10, together with the staffing changes referred to in the report.

4. SCHOOL PLACES PLAN

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to the School Places Plan 2009 for publication.

5. HAMPSHIRE'S SCOUTS

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to a grant of £9000 to Hampshire Scouts from the Children's Services Integrated grant programme.

6. APPOINTMENTS TO OUTSIDE BODIES

To consider the report of the Chief Executive about making appointments to outside bodies within the Children's Services portfolio.

7. WRITE OFF OF IRRECOVERABLE DEBT

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Children's Services seeking approval to write off two irrecoverable debts.

8. HAMBLE COMMUNITY SPORTS COLLEGE, HAMBLE -

To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the design proposal for a new community sports pavilion at Hamble Community Sports College.

9. HENRY BEAUFORT SECONDARY SCHOOL, WINCHESTER

To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the design proposal for internal reconfiguration and refurbishment works to form improved Hearing Impaired facilities at Henry Beaufort Secondary School, Winchester.

10. NOADSWOOD SCHOOL, DIBDEN PURLIEU

To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the design proposal for a mini Synthetic Turf Pitch (STP) and tennis court enhancements at Noadswood School, Dibden Purlieu.

11. MAJOR PROJECTS STATUS REPORT

To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the addition of funding to Major Capital projects, at pre-contract stage, following the approval of the design project appraisal by the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services and the Executive Member for Policy and Resources.

12. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

That in relation to the following item the press and public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during the item there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and that further, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exempt information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information for the reasons set out in the report.

13. CHILDREN'S SERVICES CAPITAL PROGRAMME ISSUES - PHASE 3 OF THE CHILDREN'S CENTRES STRATEGY (EXEMPT APPENDIX)

To receive the exempt appendix to item 2 concerning Phase 3 of the Children's Centres Strategy.
