The following decision was made.

That That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services approves the design for the proposed internal reconfiguration and refurbishment works at Henry Beaufort Secondary School, Winchester, at an estimated total cost of £407,000 (including fees of £57,000).

2) Reasons for the decision

The proposed scheme will maximise wellbeing and enhance the quality of place by providing additional Hearing Impaired facilities for pupils with a hearing impairment.

The need for the works has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
