1) The Decision:

1.1 That the impact of Renaissance funding on the performance of Hampshire County Council to date be noted and that the actions being taken to address the key issues are endorsed.

1.2 That the recommendations of the Review of Renaissance and MLA's response to them be noted.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. To review the possible future risks and opportunities to Hampshire County Council Museums Service's participation in and leadership of the South East Renaissance Hub.

2.2. It is essential that the Museums Service plans to manage service change within the context set out and position itself accordingly to take advantage of any future funding opportunities.
