1. The decision: (PROPOSED)

1.1. The purpose of this decision is for the Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation to appoint an elected Member representative on each of the eleven district Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP's):

    · Basingstoke and Deane LSP

    · East Hampshire LSP

    · Eastleigh LSP

    · Fareham LSP

    · Gosport LSP

    · Hart LSP

    · Havant LSP

    · New Forest LSP

    · Rushmoor LSP

    · Test Valley LSP

    · Winchester LSP

1.2. The Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation is consulting with the individual Members concerned and will confirm the appointment by name for each district Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) on the Decision Day.

2. Reason(s) for the decision:

2.1. The duty in the Local Government Act 2000 for local authorities to prepare community strategies with partners has been progressed in Hampshire, through the establishment of Local Strategic Partnerships in each District consistent with Government guidelines.

3.1. Not to appoint elected Member representatives on each of the district Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP's).
