1) The Decision:

1.1. That the Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation, endorses the proposed framework for future library service provision in Hampshire.

2) Reasons for the decision

2.1. On 29 June 2009 Cabinet approved the Vision and Strategy 2009-2014 for Hampshire's Library and Information Service. The Strategy set out the Library and Information Service's commitment to provide access to library services to the population of Hampshire within the available budget. In order to do this a framework needs to be agreed, hence the need for this decision.
