1. The decision:

1.1. The purpose of this decision is for the Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation to appoint an elected Member representative on each of the eleven district Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP's):

    · Basingstoke and Deane LSP - Cllr Keith Chapman

    · East Hampshire LSP - Cllr Sam James

    · Eastleigh LSP - Cllr Colin Davidovitz

    · Fareham LSP - Cllr Ray Ellis

    · Gosport LSP - Cllr Peter Edgar

    · Hart LSP - Cllr Sharyn Wheale

    · Havant LSP - Cllr Frank Pearce

    · New Forest LSP - Cllr Alexis McEvoy

    · Rushmoor LSP - Cllr Roger Kimber

    · Test Valley LSP - Cllr Patricia West

    · Winchester LSP - Cllr Frederick Allgood

2. Reason(s) for the decision:

2.1. The duty in the Local Government Act 2000 for local authorities to prepare community strategies with partners has been progressed in Hampshire, through the establishment of Local Strategic Partnerships in each District consistent with Government guidelines.

3. Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. Not to appoint elected Member representatives on each of the district Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP's).
