Members Efficiency Panel (EP) EP deliverables & outcomes: Oversee delivery of cashable efficiency savings that contribute to the HCC Medium Term Financial Plan Recommend policies on income generation, for consideration by Executive Members and Cabinet Promote further embedding of efficiency in HCC EP responsibilities (use of reserves and balances is outside EP remit): Consider and approve the Council's annual efficiency plans Develop a programme of efficiency work Systematic review of efficiency proposals Develop initiatives to embed and develop value for money Specifically review and recommend to Cabinet initiatives to: o Develop efficiencies from procurement and commissioning o Develop efficiency reviews consistent with the Council's medium term financial strategy EP Membership: Councillors Colin Davidovitz (chair), Dr Ray Ellis and Felicity Hindson Legal Status: A committee of the Executive with responsibility to discharge executive functions within their remit | ||
