2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or a prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the Fire Authority's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with Paragraph 12 of the Code. To confirm the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 25 March, 2009.
4. DEPUTATIONS
To receive any deputations.
5. PROGRESS OF IMPLEMENTING AUDIT RECOMMENDATIONS AND ACTIONS ARISING FROM INTERNAL AUDIT REPORTS
To consider the report of the Chief Officer on audit action items and on the progress made towards the implementation of recommendations for improvement.
6. HEALTH AND SAFETY ANNUAL REPORT 2008/09
To consider the report of the Chief Officer about the health and safety activities within the HFRS, and the actions being taken to ensure continuous improvement.
7. DRAFT ANNUAL GOVERNANCE REPORT - HFRA AUDIT 2008/09
The District Auditor will present the 2008/09 HFRA Annual Governance report which asks the Committee to:-
(i) consider the matters raised before approving the financial statements.
(ii) agree to adjust the errors in the financial statements identified.
(iii) approve the letter of representation on behalf of the Fire Authority.
