1. The decision:
a) That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services approves the grant applications of £5,000 or above for 2009/10, totalling £133,931 to organisations supporting young people in Hampshire.
2. Reason(s) for the decision:
a) This decision supports the following Hampshire County Council priorities;
"Making Hampshire safer and secure for all" - by supporting organisations that provide positive activities for children and young people.
"Maximising well-being" - by supporting organisations that deliver services to children and young people, or are funded by children and young people, or aim to help vulnerable children and young people.
b) It also supports the outcomes of the Hampshire Children and Young People Plan (CYPP) and all the five outcomes of Every Child Matters.
