That the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services approves the revised Hampshire SACRE constitution.

2. Reason(s) for the decision:

2.1. The Education Act 1996 replaced the Education Reform Act 1988 as the primary legislation in relation to the make up and duties of the SACRE. Whilst no further guidance has been issued in relation to SACRES themselves, there has been subsequent legislation and guidance requiring the promotion of community cohesion.

2.2. The revised constitution for the Hampshire SACRE reflects the relevant legislative changes.

3.1. Not to revise the existing SACRE Constitution in the light of the legislative changes.
