1. The decision:
1.1. That the appointment of Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover KG and Roy Lancaster as Patrons of the Gardens for a period of two years up to October 2011 be approved.
2. Reason(s) for the decision:
2.1. In October 2007, there was a detailed review of the governance arrangements for the Gardens. At that time both Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover KG and Roy Lancaster were appointed as Patrons for a period of two years. Both existing Patrons have indicated their willingness to be re-appointed for a further two year period.
