1. The following decision was made:

That the Executive Member approves the full tender process to establish a framework agreement to supply domiciliary and support workers for people with a learning disability who are living in their own homes. The contracts would be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further two years one year at a time (2+1+1).

2. Reasons for the decision:

2.1. The framework agreement will establish a list of accredited providers to provide support services over a four year period, for people in their own supported accommodation.

2.2. The support providers will be required to provide services that reflects peoples choices and will provide the same opportunities as other young adults that are central to Valuing People and the Hampshire Model.

2.3. The tender process will stimulate market development and the value of the contracts although not quantifiable at this stage, has the potential to attract new providers into Hampshire.
