1. The decision: (PROPOSED)
a) That approval be given to the sale of these dwellings on the basis set out in the report on detailed terms and conditions to be settled by the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Strategic Manager - Assets and Development).
2. Reason(s) for the decision:
2.1. The proposals in the report will bring these vacant and under-utilised dwellings into effective use at an early date. This supports the corporate priorities and, in particular, Making Hampshire Safer and More Secure for All by removing risks associated with management of vacant dwellings. The proposals also assist Maximising Wellbeing through the provision of accommodation for those in Hart who are in housing need.
3. Other options considered and rejected:
3.1. Retain the accommodation for occupation by new staff (principally teachers).
3.2. Sell the premises on the open market.
