1. The decision:

That the following one-off sums are awarded to those voluntary and community organisations detailed below:

1. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service Past Members Association - £3,000

2. St Nicholas Church, Brockenhurst - £5,000

3. New Forest Disability Information Service - £5,000

4. Be Your Best Foundation (Global Rock Challenge) - £5,000

5. Sway Tennis Club - Defer until outcome of other funding applications are known

6. The Source Young People's Charity, Aldershot - £50,000 subject to condition (see para. 2 below)

2. Reason(s) for the decision:

2.1. The awarding of these grants would support County Council's corporate Priorities of making Hampshire safer and secure for all, maximising well-being and enhancing our quality of place for residents.

2.2. In relation to Item 1 above, following receipt of revised information from the organisation, the grant was reduced to £3,000.

2.3. In relation to Item 6 above, it was agreed that the monies be awarded subject to the Director of Children's Services visiting the Charity regarding its current funding arrangements and its future sustainability.
