1. The decision: (PROPOSED)

a) That appointments be made to the following outside bodies;

Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Councillor John Wall to replace Councillor Anna McNair Scott

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust

A representative be appointed to replace Councillor Sharyn Wheale

Hampshire Gardens Trust

Councillor Vaughan Clarke to replace the late Honorary Alderman Dudley Keep

b) That the term of office for the appointment of Councillor Jane Frankum (appointed in June 2009) to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust be amended to May 2012 from May 2013 in line with the Trust's Constitution.

c) That Fordingbridge and District Community Association be added to the list of approved outside bodies and that Councillor Edward Heron be appointed as the County Council representative until the next Annual General Meeting of the Association's Council.

2. Reason(s) for the decision:

2.1. Changes to appointees are required to ensure appropriate representation on bodies within communities of Hampshire.

2.2. Fordingbridge and District Community Association is an established charity which aims to benefit the inhabitants of Fordingbridge and its surrounding district by providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community in association with local authorities, voluntary and other organisations. The Association has invited the County Council to appoint a representative to sit on the Association's Council.

3.1. Not to make appointments to outside bodies which would cease county council representation on bodies within the communities of Hampshire.
