1. The following decisions were made:

1.1 That the process outlined, to tender for the Hampshire substance misuse treatment system as part of the implementation phase of the Substance Misuse Strategic Review, be approved.

1.2 That the extension of the existing substance misuse contracts to bring them into line with the proposed procurement process and commencement of the new treatment system be approved.

2. Reasons for the decision:

2.1. To implement the findings from the strategic review of substance misuse services

2.2. To balance the revenue budget available to Hampshire DAAT by 31 March 2011.

3. Other options considered and rejected:

3.1. None - no other options were considered because of the need to implement the findings of the strategic review of substance misuse services and re-commission the Hampshire treatment system to balance the revenue budget by 31^st March 2011.
