Our work is focused on the education and welfare of looked after children and young people, wherever they may be placed. We support care leavers to progress to education, employment and training. We work in partnership with social workers, preschool and nurseries, schools, Children’s Services, and teams across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and other local authorities where children may be placed.

Video
The Virtual School is proud to present this powerful piece of film created by young people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. First shown at our conference in March 2018, and presented by the young film makers who took part, it challenges some of the stereotypes and misconceptions around care experienced children and young people, and offers insight into their experience of education. Thank you to everyone who made this film possible.
