South East England Aggregates Working Party
The South East England Aggregates Working Party (SEEAWP) monitors the supply and demand for aggregate, including assessing:
- the potential for supply of secondary and recycled materials, and
- reserves (land bank) of primary aggregate
SEEAWP brings together representatives from the aggregates, secondary aggregates and recycling industry and the mineral planning authorities.
The SEEAWP normally meets three times a year and the Secretary of the Working Party is funded through a grant from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
