About us
Locks Heath Day Service delivers services to people with profound learning disabilities and very complex needs. Situated in a fully accessible purpose built building with specialist sensory facilities and a large fully enclosed garden, we are able to provide a safe and secure environment for access to community activities.
Facilities within the building include a Hydro Pool with integrated sensory lighting, a fully equipped Multi Sensory Room, a Soundbeam Room and XY hoists systems in key areas. We also have a fleet of six fully accessible minibuses enabling access to activities within the community itself such as “Cycles for All”, photography, swimming and “Lunch Out” groups.
Our staff have undertaken specialist training to enable them to work effectively with those who have high complex needs. They are experienced in supporting service users with complex needs to successfully engage in a large variety of leisure or occupational based activities.
