About us

Newcroft is a purpose-built, brand new short stay respite unit for adults with physical and/or learning disabilities between the ages of 18 to 65.

Our eight bed unit comprises of communal use rooms including a spacious comfortable lounge, state of the art sensory room, huge high vaulted roofed dining room, open plan kitchen and laundry facility.

There are 4 bathroom / toilet / wet rooms placed between each 2 rooms which are purpose built with integrated ceiling hoists. Each bedroom is bright and airy and has built-in wardrobes. One of our rooms is designed to be used for guests that have bariatric requirements; this also has access to the bathroom with Spa bath.

Our in-house chef can cater for a variety of dietary requirements. Four of our bedrooms have access to their own patio via shuttered French windows. All guests have access to the accessible spacious garden areas. We welcome visitors to Newcroft but do ask to be informed.

Our trained staff provide twenty-four hour cover, including waking night and ‘sleep in’ staff. Although we do not provide nursing or invasive care, we do offer personal care.
